Chinese tea is a large source of polyphenols, which are antioxidants . These have interchangeable beneficial properties to vitamin C. Healthy green tea contain multiple main polyphenols, although the most found chemical is epigallocatechin gallate, known as EGCG. This is the most found part of green tea.
Chinese tea can also contain caffeine, a huge stimulant, although in much smaller quantities than can be found in other teas or than in coffee.
