Like many chemicals, it should be taken in small doses . Similarly, people that suffer from sleep problems should try to avoid Jasmine tea due to the caffeine that is within it. Similarly, anyone suffering with heart conditions should avoid Chinese green tea because of the caffeine nature of the substance. In the multitude of cases, the upsides of drinking green tea can often outweigh the downsides, although like all caffeine-based drinks it should be taken in moderate amounts and only by people that are able to have a healthy intake of caffeine.
