A commonly asked question about Jasmine tea is about whether it can let you lose fat. In short yes. Certain blends of herbal tea contain caffeine which is able to give a increase in metabolism. This is known as thermogenesis, it is the act of heat production in living things. Coffee does not provide this large increase however, despite containing a significantly higher amount of caffeine than Chinese tea. Studies have shown that tea produces slightly greater metabolic boost than just the caffeine in it on it's own can account for. Tea brings a vast range of health benefits that coffee does not.
