Does aerobics indoors still prove as beneficial as outdoor exercise?
The Nintendo Wii fit lets people to choose from currently 48 activities across 4 major sections: yoga stances, exercise mini games, aerobic exercise, and balance exercises. To participate in games, the player will stand and sometimes lie on the wireless Wii Board device that comes with it. The board, which looks like a slightly larger than normal bathroom slate, supports weights of up to 300 pounds or thereabouts. It is powered by four batteries so ensure you get a battery charger as it can be annoying without this. There are around 4 sensors within the Wii fit board that are used to find where your feet are placed. The sensors also find your centre of gravity, and reveal your weight.
Wii fit games encourage the player to jog on the spot or are encouraged to give a variety of yoga poses. These sorts of exercises can give useful exercise, but they are nowhere near as effective as a proper workout session at the gym. it's a struggle to say exactly how less effective they are, but I will mention that they are a good beginning, but not the greatest kind of exercise to use.
