Chinese tea is a strong source of polyphenols, which are antioxidants . These have interchangeable wellness properties to vitamin C. Healthy green tea contain multiple main polyphenols, while the most prominent chemical is epigallocatechin gallate, called EGCG. This is the most found part of green tea.
Green tea also contains caffeine, a major stimulant, although in much lesser quantities than can be found in other teas or within coffee.
