A common question about tea is about if it allows you to lose weight. In short yes. Jasmine tea contain caffeine and anti-oxidants which is able to allow a small increase in metabolism. This is known as thermogenesis, it is the act of heat creation in living things. Coffee does not provide this unusually large boost however, despite having a significantly higher amount of caffeine than green tea. Researchers have shown that tea produces slightly increased metabolic boost than just the caffeine in it alone can account for. Chinese tea brings with it a vast range of health benefits that coffee is unable to.
