An often asked question about Chinese green tea is about whether it can let you lose fat. basically yes. Jasmine tea have anti-oxidants and caffeine in which has been known to give a boost in metabolism. This is called thermogenesis, it is the act of heat creation in living things. Coffee does not provide this large boost however, despite containing a significantly higher amount of caffeine than green tea. Studies have proved that tea produces slightly increased metabolic boost than just the caffeine in it alone can account for. Tea brings a vast range of health benefits that coffee does not.
