Chinese tea is a huge source of polyphenols, which are antioxidants . These have similar wellbeing properties to vitamin C. Tea contain multiple main polyphenols, while the most prominent chemical is epigallocatechin gallate, referred to as EGCG. This is the most common part of green tea.
Jasmine tea can also contain caffeine, a huge stimulant, although in much lesser quantities than can be found in other teas or in coffee.
