Tea is a large source of polyphenols, which are antioxidants . These have interchangeable wellbeing properties to vitamin C. Chinese tea contain numerous main polyphenols, while the most common chemical is epigallocatechin gallate, called EGCG. This is the most common component of green tea.
Jasmine tea can also contain caffeine, a large stimulant, although in much smaller quantities than can be found in other teas or than in coffee.
