Chinese green tea is a rich provider of polyphenols, which are antioxidants . These have interchangeable wellness properties to vitamin C. Tea contain multiple main polyphenols, although the most prominent chemical is epigallocatechin gallate, called EGCG. This is the most common component of green tea.
Green tea can also contain caffeine, a huge stimulant, although in much lesser quantities than can be found in other teas or than in coffee.
