A common question regarding tea is about whether or not it can help you to lose weight. The short answer is yes. Green tea have caffeine in which can provide a surge in metabolism. This is called thermogenesis, it is the process of heat creation in living things. Coffee does not provide this dramatic surge however, despite containing a much higher amount of caffeine than Jasmine tea. Studies have demonstrated that Jasmine tea produces slightly increased boost to the metabolism than just the caffeine in it alone can account for. Jasmine tea brings with it a number of health benefits that coffee doesn't.
