Tea has often been described as owning a huge range of good points, the most often used claim being it's ability to provide easy moderate weight loss. Indeed, there are a large number of “green tea pill” products available which state that they allow a huge number of weight loss benefits.
A study by employees at the University of Kansas found that the chemical epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), which is commonly found in green tea significantly reduced the downsides of smoking and a rich high-fat diet. EGCG is a strong anti-oxidant which has been proved in a huge range of studies to have a wide range of health upsides including the prevention of the growth of cancer cells.
